#Breaking – The New York Times:
Dozens of U.S. aircraft at a base in Jordan…
Recent satellite images and flight-tracking data reveal that Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in central
#Jordan has become a key hub for planning and preparing potential U.S. military operations against Iran.
🔹 Unprecedented military buildup:
Images taken last Friday show more than 60 combat aircraft stationed at the base — roughly three times the facility’s usual aircraft presence in the Middle East.
🔹 Deployment of advanced aircraft:
For the first time, F-35 stealth jets — among the most advanced in the U.S. arsenal — were spotted alongside helicopters and drones, indicating preparations for complex, multi-mission operations.
🔹 Intensified airlift:
Flight data recorded the arrival of at least 68 military cargo aircraft at the base since last Sunday, carrying equipment and munitions.
🔹 Defensive reinforcements:
The images also show troops installing new air defense systems to protect the base and neighboring countries from potential Iranian missile attacks in the event of escalation.
