This incident is from Uttar Pradesh, India. Akshay was going on his two-wheeler. Three Muslim men were walking past. It was a wide road and Akshay could have driven past them but he deliberately stopped his two-wheeler behind them and started honking. Then, without any provocation, Akshay started abusing and slapping the three men. As they started walking away, he followed them to a distance and continued beating and abusing them in full public view. No one came to their rescue. This brazen act proves how unprovoked attacks on minorities have been normalised in the country in the last few years. With the culprits getting away, more and more people are encouraged to indulge in such acts.
