You thought the fun was over? š
This weekend, video takes center stage on the timeline.
Weāre awarding $1M, $500K, and $250K to the top three videos about @grok, created with Imagine 1.0.
Workflow explained by Creative Multi-Dimensional Specialist, Tony Hou: This short was created with the AI powered 3D workflow which utilized traditional 3D processes and @LumaLabsAIās Ray3.14 Modify video.
We are at a point where AI integration is no longer a binary but is flexible to the artistās needs. This allows us to preserve traditional processes to the extent of the artistās needs and desire.
I mainly used Ray3.14 as what I call an āintelligent render engineā, which worked with traditional ray trace render but cutting time and cost down to a fraction. The modelās ability to understand worlds with implied physics allowed for ubiquitous particle sims (foot step dust, ground dust, etc.)
I saw the AI-generated ad @andyorsow made for Grok last week. I was so amazed by it that I decided to make one myself for @liveblocks.
Sure, itās not perfect. You can tell itās AI. But the fact that I can even do this is wild.
What wouldāve taken months and $300K is now one person, one day of work, and a few hundred dollars.
Weāre entering a different era. When anyone can turn ideas into reality, taste becomes the edge.

Picture this: a t-shirt cannon, but instead it shoots unopened cans of sodaāpoint blankāinto the crotch of anyone caught vagueposting.

ADHD people screenshotting and bookmarking everything because they're afraid of losing ideas, only to never look at them again because the archive is now its own overwhelming problem.
You know what's cool?
You can just ignore the discourse-du-jour around taste, slop, craft, storytelling, and focus on making good things.
And you can do that with whatever medium you choose.
Including AI. š
Our very own @benfryc talked with @jackmsvaughan. They dive into his first year at Framer, the tight-knit marketing/video team, how he collaborates with folks like @andyorsow, and the creative process behind their in-house work.

The beta is available on all plans.
Notifications are out of control, can't keep up or respond to all of them so I'll just say thanks for all the kind words and well wishes!
"See you tomorrow" in my last post meant I'm not going to be doing much posting today, but it's kinda hard to not check in. š
