What we’re doing now is not sustainable, and the money must be redistributed. It’s that simple.
It’s a mental illness, as greed is,
and so to reiterate, no matter what you call it, yes, I do think the money should be redistributed.
It’s what any sane and healthy society would do if the best objective decisions could be made.
And I don’t mean “wealthy” like someone with $600,000. I mean wealthy like someone with a 9 figure net worth. Frankly no one really needs more than $50 million dollars as long as you still have other income. It’s vile we let some people accrue so much while others die from lack.
It’s genuinely so simple.
If something isn’t working, you do something different.
“Top-down”/“trickle down” economics just doesn’t work.
The only way the wealthy should be able to be wealthy is when everyone beneath them has a reasonable floor first
Bottom-up is the only way.
