That’s why I say that if the Europeans really wanted to try and play a positive role, they would, for example, offer to lift or suspend sanctions against Russia in return for Russia dropping the territorial demand. They would agree to start buying Russian energy again, which is very much in their own interest. I have no fear whatsoever of anybody, or anything.’ •Malcolm X was under constant surveillance by the FBI. •He was also monitored by the NYPD’s Bureau of Special Services •The FBI ran COINTELPRO, a program designed to disrupt Black nationalist groups and civil rights organisations. •The FBI had informants inside the Nation of Islam and there is documented evidence of efforts to create divisions and paranoia within Black political movements. Several members of Malcolm X’s family believe that the US government was involved in his assassination, or at least covered it up. Evidence was withheld in the original trial, and two of the men convicted of the murder of Malcolm X were later exonerated. The US government had every motive to kill Malcom X, and ensure that one of the greatest black revolutionary voices in the history of the US was silenced.

Prof. Anatol Lieven: Europe🇪🇺 cannot seek compromise peace with Russia🇷🇺 because it has TRAPPED ITSELF with its own rhetoric! ‘Trump has come to power and that has left the Europeans in a very uncomfortable position. They have committed themselves, in theory, verbally, completely to Ukraine. But of course, when they did that, it was in the conviction that they had the complete support of the United States. Now they no longer do. Now, of course, under Trump, the US is basically telling them that, over time, but possibly not a very long time, they will have to take the chief responsibility for their own defence and for paying for their own defence, which they have, once again verbally agreed to. But of course, every budget in Europe is under intense pressure, from the effort to maintain social services amidst economic stagnation.
