New Statement from the Attorneys for Brian Higgins, Nicole Albert, Brian Albert, Jennifer McCabe, and Matthew McCabe: "The allegations made by Karen Read are entirely false, defamatory, and without merit. Our clients categorically deny each and every claim. This lawsuit is nothing more than a continuation of a baseless conspiracy narrative that has caused significant harm to the reputations and lives of innocent people. Our clients acted responsibly, fulfilling their civic duty as witnesses, and have participated appropriately in the legal process from the outset. Ms. Read’s claims distort the facts, misrepresent the evidence, and target private citizens in an attempt to deflect blame. As reported yesterday, we will hold Ms. Read accountable for the harm she has inflicted and the conspiracy she and Aidan Kearney, also known as Turtleboy, have manufactured."

I've reached out to the lawyers for the McCabe's, Albert's, O'Keefe's, and Brian Higgins about Karen Read's new lawsuit and their proposed claim against her. I'll let you know if I hear back. This just released statement is from Alan Jackson and Karen Read's civil team: "Today’s filing speaks for itself. Breaking: One day after the McCabe's, Alberts and Brian Higgins expressed their intent to sue Karen Read and Aidan Kearney, Read has filed her own suit. I'm going through it now and will post our reporting as soon it's ready.

A lawsuit filed a Boston Police Captain accuses police administrators of pressuring him to change an internal affairs report about a -then- rookie officer to help him avoid POST scrutiny.
