Iโm old enough to remember when double-champ had meaning. It used to be when an active champ who still currently had their belt moved up to another division and won another belt.
Now you can give up the first title, wait God knows how long to fight, then still be a double-champ if you beat a guy called โJDMโ

Ilia didnโt even beat the champ at Lightweight, to win the both titles he beat guys that Islam already beat, Islam has finished 8 out of his last 9 opponents and just had a bigger jump up in weight and dominated JDM also has a 16 fight win streak in the UFC ๐
