Three years ago, Türkiye went through one of the most painful moments in its history.
At that time, I was wearing the colors of Galatasaray, a club whose values stand close to its people and always stand by its supporters. In the middle of the ruins, little Ege was found wearing my shirt, an image forever engraved in my heart.
Being by his side and his father’s was not about being a footballer, but simply about being human. In the face of tragedy, only humanity matters.
What deeply touched me was the incredible solidarity of the Turkish people. A united nation, strong and standing together.
Today, I do not forget. My thoughts remain with all those who continue to move forward with courage and hope.🇹🇷💪❤️
