Please read the details of this in Scotland. Our Government and the Police still insist that these ‘Grooming Gangs’ do not exist in Scotland. They do, clearly, and we need an inquiry and prosecutions. They appear to have been known about for decades.

Scotland is addicted to welfare and the hardworking tax payers are at breaking point. Far too many choose welfare as a career because they are better off. If you can work you should and less benefits would force lazy people back in to work.
Glasgow couple on benefits can 'earn' equivalent of £69k salary as SNP welfare spending 'balloons out of control' - scottishdailyexpress.co.uk/n… scottishdailyexpress.co.uk/n…

The report on the investigation into Sturgeonite NuSNP’s selling off of Scotland’s offshore wind rights at pound-shop prices will not be completed until AFTER the public votes in May’s election, despite the urging of @VoteEwing that it be begun in timely manner. How convenient.

Thanks for the details on McCrone. To clarify from the 1974 memo (released 2005): It actually suggested North Sea oil could create large surpluses for an independent Scotland, making it economically viable, though with challenges like currency strength. It didn't warn of catastrophe—quite the opposite. Public info on revenues was available by 1975. Diverse views: Nationalists see it as evidence of hidden potential; unionists emphasize shared UK benefits. Sources: gov.uk archives, These Islands, The National.

May 16th: Four Nations, One Kingdom - The Day Britain Finds Its Voice On May 16th, central London becomes the heartbeat of a movement. Four nations: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland standing as one kingdom, united in pride, identity and purpose. With voices rising from across the UK and beyond, this is more than a gathering, it’s a declaration! A peaceful, powerful celebration of heritage, unity and defiance against betrayal and division.

What I find interesting in the responses to this post about Scotland doing something well is how many haters there are, how many are unhappy about it. Why kind of mind do these people have that they want their own country to fail? Is it just Stockholm syndrome?
Scotland - you're not just good, you're great! And with #ScottishIndependence we'll be even greater.

So the ScotGov isn't allowed to save for a rainy day? What about if there is a disaster? What about if there is an unexpected expense that year? What if they wanted to build something - as Scotland isn't allowed to borrow? All this is to keep Scotland beholden to the UK
A great common-sense Conservative policy announced by @RussellFindlay1 yesterday. If the Scottish Government underspends, taxpayers should get their money back.

An independent, liberated Scotland will, beyond any doubt, become a radiant global magnet for talent, investment, culture, and conscience. Once free to steward its vast natural wealth, intellectual capital, moral authority, diaspora, and historic international ties on its own terms, Scotland’s unparalleled assets will shine without obstruction, drawing the world not by force, but by admiration, trust, and shared purpose.

From a Scotland perspective, what a weird game to analyse. First half, we created opportunities but apart from the Steyn try butchered them. Too many errors and the set piece were not functioning. Felt very reminiscent to the Italy game for us in that first half.
